March Market Report
It is hard to believe it is March already and our Sunshine Coast weather has been fairly typical in February and March with our 'wet season' filling up our dams, rivers and creeks. The good news is that our gardens are looking green and lush.. simply stunning and just in time for Easter.

Surf, Surf and More Surf!
The Festival of Surfing is coming to Noosa again on the 14-21st March 2010 and our team took to the waters recently and had a bit of fun as seen in this photo! We all ventured out for a day in the sun, with a picnic in the Noosa Woods and the highlight was definitely stand up paddle surfing with Donalee from Noosa Stand Up Paddle. We can all highly recommend this fun activity for something to do next time you are in Noosa.
XO Venues Soon to Open at Sunshine Beach
Three new venues are due for completion and are planned to open in time for Easter at the Sunshine Beach Shopping Village.
"Embassy XO" - (previously Alegria Restaurant) will be an upstairs licensed modern Asian and Chinese restaurant with indoor and covered outdoor dining for up to 80 diners.
"XO Bistro Wine Bar" - (previously Wasabi Restaurant) On the ground level, will be a licensed and BYO beach-style bistro and wine bar serving pizzas, steaks and seafood in a more casual style. It will include indoor and outdoor dining for up to 100 people.
XO Cellars - Connecting to the Bistro will be a boutique style bottle shop serving quality wines and beers.
Company Director of the XO group and local developer for over 25 years, Michael Collins originally built the complex at the beach end of the busy shopping village 16 years ago. The venues are together, taking up the ground level and first floor.

I recently attended the community meeting regarding the Sunshine Beach Shopping Precinct which was extremely well attended with well over 100 people from the local community attending. The meeting was a chance for community consultation and it was great to see so many people putting their ideas and opinions forward. It will be interesting to see where the Sunshine Coast Regional Council take this with their planning committee and we will keep you updated with any developments.
